Stunning award winning eco home overlooking Waimarama Beach in Hawke’s Bay. The home was designed and built by University of Victoria architectural students, went on display in Wellington, then it was shipped to Washington to compete in an international competition where it won first place in engineering. The home is now permanently located overlooking the white sands of Waimarama Beach. The house sleeps up to six, including a cleverly designed drop down bunk bed, but is best suited to young families of 4 or 2 couples given the open plan nature of the home. There is one indoor bathroom and another outside for the summer months. The house has a large decking area with bean bags and outdoor kitchen, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views of the beach, across to Cape Kidnappers and out to sea to Bare Island.
